What to control
- Shoot the same angles every season
- Remove clutter and personal items
- Match photos to current amenities
- Date the set and archive the old one
Operating context
Photos set expectations. A listing that shows a coffee maker the unit no longer has will produce a complaint, a refund request, or a bad review. A seasonal refresh keeps the images honest.
Use a shot list so the set is comparable: entry, living area, kitchen, each bedroom, bathroom, workspace, outdoor space, and parking. The same angles make it easier to spot a missing amenity.
A workable routine
Remove clutter and personal items before shooting. Check that linen, towels, and supplies match the current standard. A photo that shows a different sofa is a promise the unit cannot keep.
Confirm each image against the amenities list. If the unit gained or lost an item, update both the photos and the listing text in the same change window.
Review and evidence
Date the set and archive the previous one. When a guest disputes what was advertised, the dated set is the evidence.
