Set reorder triggers for unit supplies
Use par levels and a weekly count so linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies do not run out mid-turnover.

What to control
- Set a par level per unit
- Count on a fixed day
- Trigger a reorder at the threshold
- Record shortages and emergency buys
Operating context
Supplies fail at the worst time: between a checkout and an arrival. A par level turns the question from is there enough to will there be enough for the next three turnovers.
Set the par level per unit type, not per property. Note the count that must be on hand after a turnover, including one spare set where storage allows.
A workable routine
Count on a fixed day and record the result. A count done only when someone remembers is not a control.
Trigger the reorder at the threshold and name who approves the purchase. Keep the supplier, the lead time, and the minimum order with the par sheet.
Review and evidence
Record emergency buys and shortages. A repeated emergency buy means the par level or the lead time is wrong.
